Like all ANKER products, this T3 cable is of the highest quality. I use it in place of the T3 cable that came with the OWC T3 dock. The cable supplied by OWC was slightly shorter, resulting in an awkward desk position - the extra few inches made all the difference. The MacBookPro system info tells me the connection speed is 40Gbps (as the specs require). Video and data are correctly transmitted through the cable to the docking station and then to the peripherals and monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (USB-C 3.1 Gen2 with DisplayPort connection).
