Works great on kayaks
I haven't had any problems with grommets or rivets when used with grommets. I tried installing the rod holder with rivets and they didn't break. It's all my fault. Use eye rivets and you'll be fine. I'm learning plastic. Also, be sure to use seawater sealant. After drilling, cover the holes with enough sealant and then use rivets. Give the sealer 24 hours to dry and you're done.
