The shapes of the details do not look like letters but are amorphous drops.
I wanted the puzzle pieces to be letters so she could learn the shapes. But that's not the case. Instead, there is an amorphous hole and inside it is an object that starts with a letter (jump rope in hole J, house in hole H, strange X-ray of bones in hole X, etc.). So the child is supposed to know what letter these things start with or what order the alphabet is in and counting. My child does not (2 years, 3 months). So she is playing with a bit frustrating puzzle due to the ambiguous shapes and she is not learning the alphabet :(
