I'm 5ft 1in, 140 pounds, hourglass figure. This dress overwhelms a smaller figure and hits just below my knees which looks rather awkward. I plan to trim the ruffle at the bottom to make it shorter and smoother. However, the shoulders and torso fit well as the fabric stretches to accommodate different areas. It hung beautifully on the top half of my figure. However, this dress looks cute. There are also ruffles on the sleeves to complete the butt (yes, I was planning on solving those issues with people who are too short). The fabric is thick enough to hide many things like bra lines or ugly body parts. It also means that if you're ever very bloated, the fabric can't hide it and will stretch unflatteringly in that area. After all, the material is very elastic, which is suitable for small bumps, but not for large ones. Invest in some spanks. As the material is thicker it is better suited to the colder months and looks adorable with leggings and a jacket. It's fairly easy to care for, I just washed it on the gentle cycle and let it air dry and it did a great job. Air drying takes a while but I don't put delicate garments in the dryer so I lived with that. Overall, this is a really cute dress and a solid LBD investment.
