I bought this medium sized e-collar for my 20 lb jack russell after surgery, it fit perfectly. (It will probably work for slightly larger pets as well.) I particularly like this e-collar for its structure but flexibility, easy on and off with the adjustable Velcro strap, and because it can be attached to your pet with a regular buckle collar. The clear windows on the sides also seemed to help have some peripheral vision, although the electronic collar did rotate when my dog stood up and moved due to the weight of the Velcro side. has a soft edge that won't cut your foot if your little furry baby bumps into you too! (as opposed to the traditional plastic e-collar you get from your vet). To be honest, my dog seems to have tolerated this e-collar much better than the traditional plastic collar. Because of its flexibility and the soft edge around its neck, it was comfortable for it to lie down or move around. Although a bit embarrassing, he was able to eat and drink with this e-collar on, but I decided to take it off during mealtimes to give him a little break. My little friend had to wear it almost 24/7 for about 16 days and it has held up great. It was a bit uncomfortable with drool, dog hair, etc., but it was easy to clean with a damp cloth. This e-collar was definitely worth the price and was a lot cheaper than pet store prices! *I have attached a photo of my boyfriend after the surgery so you can see how it fits him.
