Simple button device for live transmissions. I'm a professional IT/AV technician, helping houses of worship with media setup. Before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, I used the Epiphan Webcaster X2 for my clients because of the convenient button to start/stop live streaming. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has stopped production. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, the encoder was very difficult to find. I switched to this Magewell Ultra Stream HDMI encoder instead of the standard encoder that requires the user to manually copy the stream keys. Even though it said "single channel," I set it up to stream to Facebook and YouTube for customers at the same time. The price is a bit high, but my customers and I are satisfied with the quality of the device, the ease of use and, most importantly, the quick response of the technical support.
