Does everything I needed. It does the hard work so other devices don't have to. My buffering has gone down a lot. It's perfect? No, but until I upgrade other hardware I'm fine with it.

I was hoping to use this for work since I'm a professional videographer and streaming producer. It's really only good as a backup. Low bit depth recordings and a terrible file system for a USB flash drive. It's almost good, but we can't use it in my office due to poor performance, file issues, and lower quality. Too bad I didn't send it back.

It wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Seems cheaply made for the price. Although you plug it into an Ethernet port, you'll need to control it from your phone over Wi-Do on the same network. Doing something over Wi-Fi when many people are on the same network is always schematic. I returned it and received a prompt refund.

Please note the following before purchasing this product: - Main stream encoding is limited to 4000 Kbps - Sub-stream encoding is limited to 1000 Kbps - Sub-stream resolution and frame rate are limited to 720p30 - Recording is limited by encoding settings. The initial version of this with base firmware had some limitations but Magewell listened and fixed most of them. Now you can get good 1080p60 at 8Mbps or you can do 4Mbps dual stream. The ability to make multiple connections and pair with your phone makes it a great tool for working on the go, or if you have a computer capable of running the Switch software but might have a coding issue , you can swap him out with that guy.
