I went to a dance store last week and none of the split sole dance shoes felt right on my feet. Also the dance shoe sizes were confusing! I needed shoes for Irish set dancing which involves a lot of circling and jumping with a partner. which is easily possible in normal running shoes. I also do Zumba twice a week. So I took a chance and am glad they fit like a jewel! My street size is 8.5 but sometimes I get to 9. I bought these 8.5 and they are perfect. Thin enough to wrap around my leg, good healing support and plenty of toe width. They look good enough to wear with a skirt! My leg is well supported and I'm sure they will help me dance the ceilidh all night.
