I bought this anti slip tape to tape my outdoor porch steps glue that lead to my apartment on the 2nd floor. The steps have recently been painted and are very slippery when wet. My dog slipped off the stair nosing. I live in Maine and bought this tape at the end of November. I was worried about our freezing temperatures here and if the tape would come loose. Of course, the stairs have a roof over them, but they are really susceptible to frost. I waited a week for the temperature to rise and applied the tape on the warmest day (44 degrees) and then used a hair dryer over the tape. I also put some weight on the band afterwards, meaning I stood on each band strip for about a minute with each step. Temperatures dropped back to teenage levels the next day, staying mostly in the 20s during daylight hours. The tape hasn't come loose in any of the 12 steps, no blisters yet. It's only been a month but I'm very happy. My dog has never slipped.
