Roof Lock for Scaffolding and Accessories

I used this on the metal roof of a log home I was planning to renovate. I was able to peak a row of them, saving space to work without slipping!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Exchangeable

Makes working on steep roofs easier

Working on a chimney on a metal roof. Without her, I would be tied up with ropes and have no support. I like that they can be adjusted for different roof angles.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Great product for a 9/12 pitched roof.

I need to fix a fallen Hardi board on the back of my fireplace that was blown away by Hurricane Matthew. This allowed access to the work on my sloping roof on the 2nd floor 9/12. When set to 9/12 pitch, only slightly offset in the right direction. Easy to install and remove, very durable. Used with PT 2x10.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues

Inexpensive and safe ladder.

This is a strong and good value scaffolding. I install one every 4 feet and then put scaffolding boards on top and put a screw in the hole in the back to hold everything in place. The only downside is that there are 2 widths, so you need to be aware of that when ordering. I've found that with metal roofing I just unscrew the metal roofing screw, hook it in, and then add another metal roofing screw or two just to be sure. When I'm done, I remove the screws, fill the holes with industrial grade…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Not sure

It was life saving.

I bought these because I was building a shed and the roof angle was too steep to serve as a slide. I bought three of these to span the width of a 16 foot roof so I could work on the entire roof's shingles without moving the brackets. I used a 16ft 2x6 as a platform. Using a ladder, I ran the roof as far as I could, then attached the brackets and moved on. It took a bit of fiddling to get the brackets loose, but my roof looks fine. This was my first time doing a roof and the thought of falling…
