I bought some blankets for my newborn. It was one of the ones I bought. I like it, but even after multiple washes, it's still scratchy on its new skin. I'm not very happy with it and wouldn't buy it again. I'm glad I also bought organic receiving blankets from the same company and Hudson for a few bucks more and oh my gosh they are so soft and slightly larger than these that I went back and bought more. I can also use these for swaddling and I feel great for their softness and even better for being organic. I use these recording blankets as spit pillows and over a pelvis but not on my newborn's soft skin. Good buy but not what I was looking for in a receiving blanket. I want soft ones but these are not soft at all.
