I recommend you download device drivers instead of using the minidisk.

The device works fine, but I had problems with the computer during the initial installation. I have followed the instructions. I HAVE NOT CONNECTED THE DEVICE. I started installing the drivers from the minidisk. does not find the device I connected the device and restarted the driver installation, the installation is complete. I installed the software using the license key from the CD. I went into device manager to check if the drivers installed correctly: I was able to capture video from my old Sony 8mm camera to my computer. HOWEVER, WHEN I LATER REBOOTED THE COMPUTER, IT WAS NOT BOOTING AFTER THE SCREENSAVER. After an hour of troubleshooting, clearing CMOS, etc., I decided to disable all USB devices, thinking new device drivers were causing problems. I was now able to boot Windows 10. I had to uninstall device drivers to boot the computer with USB peripherals attached. I went online and downloaded the drivers from their website. Now I was able to properly boot my computer and use the device. It captured the video well. The software is great for recording, but it's limited. I used other software for video editing and DVD creation.
