Review on 🎢 External USB Sound Card - CREATIVE Sound BlasterX G6 by Pin Lin ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I'm not completely satisfied with the product.

It is imperative that it be known that everything is a matter of opinion and is dependent on the tools used. An analog cord was used to link the card to an older Japanese amplifier that cost $300 and English speakers that cost $600. After connecting with creative ZXR/1, the phone gives off an impression similar to that of a Nokia push-button phone. The second impression is that the music has a high level of detail, yet it was created by an alien intellect that is unfamiliar with the whole concept of composition. The accompaniment, including the chimes and taps that were playing in the background, is brought up to an equal level as the main part. And if a gamer takes pleasure in the intricate details of the sounds of the setting, then a music lover will be dissatisfied by such a presentation of the musical scene. Listening to the same Depeche Mode song or even rock from 2022, and in general, any record from the turn of the century is unrealistic. No matter what, modern arrangements are required, and the more straightforward the better. Third impression: there is no bass at all, the sound is cold and "digital," and all improvers can add bass. However, the bass will continue to thump on its own even when it is not being accompanied by music. Total - maybe, but only if I were unaware of how the song will likely sound on the ZXR. I held on to it for myself, but after the "highest card," this is completely intolerable. So, 24 bits is sufficient for me, and I gave back 32 bits to the business.

Pros
  • the flexibility to play around with filtering, 32-bit resolution, compactness, and three different filters
Cons
  • not musical at all
