I'm sure you have increased your bottom line by $0.02 per unit on this item by switching to a new design that is probably cheaper and easier to manufacture than the previous one. old draft. Note that the old design had multiple ridges on the outer edge of the brush that screwed onto the soap dispenser portion of the brush, while the new design has a single spiral shaft in the bottom center of the soap. a dispenser that screws onto the base of the brush. The old design lasted ten years for me, with brush changes once or twice a year. but with the new design I didn't buy any. not two. but (like a complete idiot) three brushes! I returned to the well three times, hoping and praying that you would return to the old method. or at least switch to a stronger plastic for the threaded part on the new model. Unfortunately, I'm just a fool fueling OXO's opinion that this is an amazing, highly rated product based almost entirely on the old production method and repeat purchases. Shame on me and shame on OXO.
