Review on Enhance Your Disc Golf Skills with the Remix Double Chain Practice Basket - Pick Your Favorite Color! by Chris Lujan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great basket for the price

I'm new to DG but my son is a semi-pro (950 rating). We practiced with it for a week and have concluded that this is a great purchase. Contrary to another post - it will NOT tip over even if it has ripped a disc on it. On a flat surface, ie. It comes with four "tent poles" to secure it if desired, but we never needed them. Very easy to assemble. Pretty close to PDGA specs (see photo). The chains are noticeably lighter than standard golf carts, but it's GOOD for practice as it's a bit more difficult to get the disc into the cart. The sides of the basket slope inward from top to bottom - the top is 26 inches in diameter and the bottom is 21.5 inches in diameter, while most golf baskets only decrease in diameter by about an inch or so. Again, this is GOOD for practice as the disc can sometimes "slip" if it weren't on the track. The welds holding the bolts and nuts for the B-pillar appear solid and I seriously doubt it. that if you could knock that thing over somehow, it would damage everything. Easy to assemble (from box to assembly in 4 minutes). Light enough to be carried from the garage to the yard with ease. The only problem is that there are two racks of different lengths, 21" and 26"...the instructions don't say or specify which should be under the basket and which should be between the basket. and hanger. However, a look at the PDGA specs makes it clear... the longer 26" bar with the ReMix label should be between the basket and the hanger (i.e. in the middle).

Pros
  • EASY ASSEMBLY: The practice disc moves easily and assembles without tools. It can be put on or taken off in minutes and is light enough to move around the garden with ease.
Cons
  • Some difficulties
