Review on AMD Ryzen 5600G 12 Thread Processor by Mateusz Sztrekier ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Background: at one time he was the owner of a PC with a gaming video card, which had to be sold at the height of the mining boom (we needed money). Since then, I swore to buy processors without built-in, since playing on Intel UHD 600 is a pain) Initially, the budget was limited, so I built a computer on Vega 7. I planned to buy a video card when the money appeared. My config: Mother - Asus B450-A II (new bios, processor started out of the box); RAM - Kingston Fury Beast 3600 (in BIOS, overclocked to 4000 in two clicks on the "Favorites" tab, did not go into the Asus AI tweaker, did not set profiles manually); Processor - R5 5600g (automatically boosts up to 4.5 GHz + I downloaded Ryzen Master and overclocked the embed by moving the slider from 1900 to 2300 with a voltage of 120225, Vega 7 allocated 4 gigs of video memory in the BIOS). Performance in games, I was, to put it mildly, amazed. RDR 2 with high textures, in full hd (1920 * 1080), with FSR 2.1 in quality mode, gives console 31 frames in densely populated San Dani. In the fields, the fps rises to 35-37. I attach a screenshot with the settings (shadows, water, volumetric light set to low). Actually, other games in the form of tanks, KSki, Rainbow and others will work fine. Rome 2, for example, on ultras with double anti-aliasing and synchronization produces 40-50 frames. Shogun 2 is similar. Skyrim works on high, Dishonored 2 works on high with low shadows and lighting. In Hades 64, the processor heats up to 69-71 degrees (gammax 300 cooler). Outcome Actually, I don't know if I need a video card now. Most of the games before 2022 work fine. Finally, technology has reached the point where you can play RDR 2 in Full HD at low-high on the built-in! It's incredible! Well done AMD. Even if you don't need the built-in, I recommend buying the Ryzen 5 5600g version, and not the 5600X, since the performance difference of about 7-10 percent in games is not felt. If you have any questions - write in the comments.

Pros
  • - Price - Performance - Integrated graphics in games (read more in the review) - Ability to boost the video core
Cons
  • - Price in 2022 stores (I ordered a new one on Ali in a blister for 7800 in a store with a lot of good reviews - PYD Store)
