I could fit my cell phone, 1 pair of reading glasses, hard credit card case, thick car keys, pencil and pen in it. After that, I could slip in my medium-distance reading glasses, a purse, or some other small item. It's neat, pretty, and hangs at an attractive level. There is no pocket or pouches on the back, but there are 2 (rather flat) zippered sections on the front, plus a slightly wider center section and divider inside that helps keep items organized, easy to find, and quick to remove. Very practical for its size. If I wanted to improve it I'd like a 3/4 inch thick zippered back pocket (maybe forward) so I can fit a little more, but I'll manage to use it as is. Due to size restrictions I will use it for specific occasions rather than everyday wear. I have a small black shoulder bag that fits 2 readers (near and medium range) and a few other items in addition to those I have listed, so the black shoulder bag is better for everyday use. But it's attractive and useful within its limitations.
