I have been using the Marofin Lumbar Support Pillow for almost a month. I notice a difference in back feeling when sitting in an office chair with a Marofin cushion compared to a chair without a cushion. Its design means the "wings" actually touch my lower back where I need support. I have tried several lumbar pillows in my office chairs. Sometimes I join two together to create a thicker pillow. Marofin measures approximately 4-4½ inches at its thickest point. The wings are plastic with memory foam cushions and mesh cover. For me, the memory foam is soft enough that I don't feel like the plastic frame is digging into my back, but still supportive. Mesh cover is breathable even my office is 80C upstairs. The back of the cushion, the part that fits snugly against the back of the chair, is a flat sheet of plastic. It has a lip at the bottom to keep it on the chair cushion. An elastic band is not enough for the weight of the pillow. I have a gaming style office chair so I was able to thread the strap through the cutouts for a better fit, but that's not an option for everyone. A cushion of this weight really needs two elastic straps to hold it in place on the chair. I can already see wear on a strap after just a month of use.
