This product made the best cup of coffee I have ever made. I used the same coffee as before when I had a ceramic cone and paper filter. This earlier ceramic cone did a very good job of making what I thought was a very good cup of coffee. Until I got a great cup of coffee that helped me with Cafellissimo paperless coffee maker! Coffee brewed without paper tastes great! And this is what I would call medium quality coffee. I also made coffee for two of my waiter friends and one of them said it was the best coffee he had ever had! All I can say is that it "blows the coffee off your feet" every time. I'm grateful and happy to all the contributors who took the time to let me know here on Revain. I also used an unbleached paper filter in the Cafellissimo coffee maker for a proper comparison to my previous way of brewing coffee. It was slightly better than my previous paper and ceramic method, but not as good as paperless brewing. I would highly recommend this product to any coffee lover. LAUGH OUT LOUD! So much so that I immediately bought a second one as a gift for another expensive coffee lover like myself. As far as cleaning goes, all I can say is that while using a paper filter makes cleaning easier, it sacrifices a lot of flavor. However, this usage occurs when one is in a hurry. However, it just takes a little longer to toss most ground coffee in my compost bin and run a backflow of water through the filter to clean it. I want great coffee every time I use it, so I think a little cleaning effort will guarantee that. Enjoy!
