I've had it for a week now and use it almost twice a day. For me, I wouldn't formally call what he does espresso, but rather frothy strong coffee. It lacks the consistency of real espresso from a good machine. However, the portability aspect is great. Tried to press harder - no difference. I'll try less water or a finer grind and update my rating if it changes. Update from my last comment (and an increase in star rating): you get a double boot with the Barista set. It also includes instructions on how to remove the protrusion that acts as the portafilter pressure retainer. Once that's removed, it's a pretty decent shot with a double charge for one shot.
