Review on 🧊 IcePC M.2 2280 SSD Pure Copper Heatsink Kit Cooler - Heat Sink with Silicon-Based Thermal Pad for Cooling M.2 SSD, NGFF SSD, and NVME SSD (70x20x4mm) by Bim Cook

Great for the M.2 connector on the back of the motherboard (2mm)

I have multiple M.2 drives on my Asus ROG Zenith II Extreme Alpha and unfortunately the third slot is on the back boards and has terrible Cooling. , no space for standard size radiators. Attached is a picture, it's a pretty ordinary place for some reason, although accessing the back of the motherboard is incredibly inconvenient. On my Sabrent Rocket 4.0, my temps (without the heatsink) went from 55°C idle to a maximum of 84°C under Crystal Disk Mark, up to 45°C idle and 55°C after the heatsink was installed. Much better delta than I expected before/after, roughly idle delta - 10°C peak delta - 30°C Just fantastic. I used a 2mm and I think it barely fits due to the depth of the MOSFET MB. My only complaint is that there were no instructions, but installing the cooler is very intuitive, so it's not a big deal. You simply remove the adhesive from the back of the heatsink and attach it to the drive. If you need more security, you can use these small rubber bands. Came with 3 black and 3 clear, I used the clear ones. I wholeheartedly recommend this heatsink, especially the 2mm version for tight spaces like the back of the motherboard. Phenomenal passive cooling.
