Review on Outlaw Racing OR3440 Fuel Petcock Valve Shut Off Repair Rebuild Kit - For Suzuki DR-Z400S DR-Z 400SM & Kawasaki KLX400SR by Larry Boyd

I bought this to fix a faucet on my drz400 that was leaking outside. I wanted to leave it factory and figured if it works the way it was designed it would be better than a manual setup. I installed it with no problems, but there are no instructions. I cleaned it, everything worked fine, there is no fuel and when I start the engine there is fuel. No problems until a 3 day email when I wanted to start the bike. Doesn't start, fuel pours out of the carburetor. I checked it again with the hose off and it started draining fuel for a while then stopped. I'm not sure if it's defective or what, but I'll be buying a manual faucet, needle valve, and seat from now on. If this were to work properly, it would also need to cut off the fuel supply. Now I have petrol in the oil.
