DO THE JOB. in motorcycling and weightlifting

Installed on a 2006 DRZ400S. This solved the problem with the leaking valve. Just a few comments. I suspect this kit will work with a few different types of valves as there seem to be a few parts that don't seem necessary for my valve. There are no instructions, but if you are careful when disassembling the valve you should have no trouble putting it back together. Just connect the old parts to the new ones. The cost of a new valve, of course.

Not suitable for motorcycles and weight sports

I bought this to fix a faucet on my drz400 that was leaking outside. I wanted to leave it factory and figured if it works the way it was designed it would be better than a manual setup. I installed it with no problems, but there are no instructions. I cleaned it, everything worked fine, there is no fuel and when I start the engine there is fuel. No problems until a 3 day email when I wanted to start the bike. Doesn't start, fuel pours out of the carburetor. I checked it again with the hose off…

Crane Repair Kit

I purchased this faucet repair kit to fix the faucet on my DRZ400S. Since I had bought a used bike and it had only done 300 miles even though it was seven years old it was unknown if the previous owner used ethanol in the fuel or not I figured it would be best to replace the rubber parts in order to this to avoid leaks. The salvage went well, but somewhere in transit or storage the round disc behind the vacuum side of the double diaphragm was badly bent and I couldn't use that component for the

Perfect solution for 2015 DRZ400

My standard tap started leaking fuel to the engine. I didn't want to switch to a manual faucet like some people do because I know I'll forget to turn off the fuel the first time if that causes a problem. To fix this with the tank on the bike, I drained the fuel tank by disconnecting both lines coming out of the faucet, then I ran a hose from the main outlet at the front of the faucet to the gas tank, then connected a vacuum hand pump to the carburetor vacuum line nipple . Once you create a…

Fits perfectly with my stock DRZ400S petcock!

I bought a used 2003 DRZ400S from the first owner 8 years ago. I've read a lot about this and learned about the leaking fuel tap issue that many DRZ owners have reported. It turns out that when the factory valve flows in, the gas goes through the valve of the valve into the fuel line, into the carburetor, and then into the crankcase of the engine. A gas-filled crankcase blocks the engine - this is not very good. Although my faucet doesn't leak (and my DRZ400S was 9 years old when I bought it)…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Vulgarity
