I live in North Florida and it's 31 degrees right now. I wanted these mittens to be worn when I go to the barn to do my business first thing in the morning. This was the first time I've worn these mittens and I'm very disappointed. First of all, the mittens are thick and hard, do not fit in the hand and it is almost impossible to do anything in them. I only had to use a broom and rake so it's not a big deal. However, I could feel the grips through my palm, and after spending about 10-15 minutes doing what I needed to do, my hands were pretty cold. I got them ready in the summer so going back is not an option, I think it was a mistake. So if you live somewhere where the temp is below 40 they are pretty much useless and I wouldn't recommend them.
