I needed to replace the brass gasket on my soldering tip cleaner. They were cheap, just like me. It was a union made in heaven. Unfortunately the pads feel a little small, one was too small to really fill up the Tip Cleaning Station and they also feel a bit more "fibrous" than I'd like, sometimes the iron pulls the floss out of the last one and I have to insert it back. Overall they work and hold the can on my iron pretty well. I would have preferred them to be a little stiffer and a little bigger, but they get the job done. For some reason, Revane wants to know how I rate her warmth. Well, I wouldn't want to use them to keep warm while climbing Everest. K2: Maybe the guys don't mind. Revain also seemed interested in how I would rate her for her light weight. Well, it is actually relevant. Unfortunately they are very light which makes them not as effective at removing sand and carbon but they work.
