It feels like I've been betrayed.
I needed a single use disc to send a 111GB file to a friend. Just in case, I bought a 512GB drive and tried to transfer the zipped file from my iMac to the drive. I formatted the drive (exfat) and it showed the full 512GB, but when trying to transfer the drive showed over 7 days transfer time and stopped after 16GB. I do not recommend this drive. In contrast, I formatted a 128GB SanDisk Pro microSD card and it took less than 25 minutes to fully transfer 111GB of data to the card with no errors.
