We ordered this to fit our Microsoft Surface 3 as our cat nibbled on the original cable. We used regular USB cables and over time thought the Surface was running out of charge as the battery died about an hour after a full charge. This cable has completely solved this problem. It fits perfectly and charges our Surface 3 just as well as the original cable. A real bargain at only $15.
