Breathed new life into an 8 year old desktop computer

About 8 years ago I bought what was one of the fastest computers on the market at the time, a high performance computer for some money To save, I just bought 6 gigabytes of RAM and ran Windows 7. This was also my production computer for image and video editing. It worked great for many years, but in recent years the computer has become slower. I upgraded the hard drives to the fastest on the market and that helped some, but as Lightroom/Photoshop got more powerful and Windows 10 was consuming resources it wasn't enough. So I turned off my computer and used a new laptop that seemed to work better. Then in early October my laptop died. So I decided to restart the desktop. I reinstalled everything, cleaned the tower from dust and ran several tests with it. Unfortunately the computer was still slow. So I decided to increase the RAM as much as possible (16 GB). After a lot of research I found that this old RAM still works great and a lot of the reviews I read online said it was a great brand. After installing it, I had to restart my computer. a few times to let the system notice hardware changes (problems with my computer). I immediately noticed how much faster my computer is. Thanks to this update, I was able to bring this old computer out of retirement and use it for image editing. I even have enough memory to run a media server and watch movies while processing images (if I want to). recommends) do it defiantly. It's a lot cheaper than buying a new computer, and the Kingston HyperX Fury is a great option for you.
