later It worked perfectly on my 2005 Acura TL 3.2 with 5 speed automatic transmission. The only difference I noticed between this and the OEM is that the base that attaches to the vehicle is made out of some sort of plastic (but it seems very strong and solid) while the OEM is all metal duration. But it fits and works great. I will give an update a few months after the inspection. UPDATE: It's still in a solid piece. Excellent purchase.
