Bought in case of power outage so I don't have to plug in a generator to start the Keurig. I live in the mountains of Northern California and PG&E turns off the power whenever the wind blows. The coffee taste is just as good as when using Keurig. Much tastier and faster than with a percolator. I also just used it on a week long hike in my caravan. No shore power so again it was nice not to run the generator to use the electric coffee maker or make a crappy coffee maker cup. It was a huge camping hit, my mum and sister in law booked it. The attached photo shows the use in a caravan.
