I use it for a cup of coffee almost every day. It doesn't automatically stop the flow for the duration of flowering, so after wetting the coffee grounds, you have to stop watering, wait for flowering, and then water again, not knowing which mark to water because you've already watered a little and the water drips down when pouring.

Bought this because I love slow dripping coffee and wanted something in case of a power outage considering we have just been 2 weeks without power due to Hurricane Ida. This little tool is pretty cool and the taste of my coffee is to my liking. I can feel all the notes and they are stronger than in my regular coffee maker. I bought 3 in total.

Bought in case of power outage so I don't have to plug in a generator to start the Keurig. I live in the mountains of Northern California and PG&E turns off the power whenever the wind blows. The coffee taste is just as good as when using Keurig. Much tastier and faster than with a percolator. I also just used it on a week long hike in my caravan. The only purpose that came to mind after figuring out how to use it is that I love kitchen appliances, many of which I almost never use, and this one fits into this category. I should have read more carefully about the battery powered device. It turns out you have to do everything with it that you do with any one-cup maker, except you also put in 2 AAA batteries, for what? Spin the top like dripping hot water!
