better than expected

I bought these shoes to protect my feet from the hot sand at the beach. I'm tired of picking up the sand with my flip flops and I'm also tired of the sand slipping off and sticking to the soles of my feet and burning me when I leave the beach. I put on these shoes instead and was surprised at how comfortable they are and impressed at how well they work. They even made my big feet look smaller. I also wore them in the sea. Inserts slip a little after a long stretch. I love these shoes, they were exactly what I needed!
