Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Speaker Installation with Metra 82-6901 Universal Speaker Adaptor Plates by Jason Sullivan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

worked but didn't work. read review.

Used on a 2015 Chrysler 200 to replace a 6x9 rear coax with a Pro Audio 6.5, they did the job but I would add they are flimsy and cheap. And the holes didn't match. But for the price I made stencils out of it and used 1/2 Plexiglas and it worked great for the back. I've used them in front doors and they work better. For the price, they're good enough to get the job done. If you're installing a heavy 6.5" speaker, you might want to amplify it in some way, e.g. B. with fiberglass resin or something to reinforce it so it doesn't bend. But I ordered 2 more sets because they are ideal for doors, the weight of the loudspeaker can be compromised at the back. I put a Skar Pax 6.5 in the doors and a D4S60 in the back, the d4s are very heavy for a 6.5.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
