For what you get, I think the kit should be cheaper. The screws work well, I have not broken. I like them for how quickly the fan can be installed or removed; I doubt they affect the acoustics that much. They're designed for thinner walls, so if you're trying to use them with a 1/4" acrylic body, they may give you some trouble, especially the shorter screws. I really need a few meters. Finally, zip ties are adequate, but I have a feeling they're just a cheap addition; I would be much happier with a pair of 12v to 9v fan adapters.
