These two brushes were even better than expected. They are excellent quality in every way: a wooden oval base with a nice base on the wood that holds the brush bristles in place; the bristles are well fixed and in sufficient quantity - not sparse and do not dangle at the base so that they fall out. The stiffer bristles are just that, stiffer than the softer bristle brushes but not so hard that they irritate skin — they're just right, according to Goldilocks. Ditto for a brush with softer bristles - soft enough to use on the face when needed and gentle on the skin but still effective for cleaning. The cloth handle on each is well attached, easy to hold, good quality, tightly woven, looks solid. These brushes are comfortable to hold and are safe and secure. Both brushes are of excellent quality. We've used them a few times so they've been soaked thoroughly and then dried and they're fine. Very good buy!
