These are great winter boots for toddlers. The quality surpasses anything you will buy in a department store and they will almost certainly last a few children. After seeing the quality of these Columbia kids boots, I highly doubt I would spend money on other brands. A small negative point: my daughter is almost 4 years old and wears a size 9/10. Although she had narrow feet, they are still a bit difficult to put on as the ankle area is very narrow and doesn't matter much. As for the cons, I can pretty much say that they're a hit because chances are you'll have to help your little one put them on every time. The pros far outweigh any minor issue. , and a small issue with a narrow ankle can also be a positive as once the boots are on your child's feet they will fit nice and snug and the boots will almost certainly not come loose. The profile is very aggressive and my daughter declared them to be her "stomping boots" as soon as she put them on. A nice wide elastic strap secures them easily and the snug fit keeps snow safely off these boots. Their cold weather rating is insane, and while we haven't had a chance to try them out in the cold yet, I have no doubt they will perform better than any other boot we've had.
