I was glad they were advertised as 'super clear' because I have 2 black outlets on my kitchen island, which I have to close and the white ones look tasteless. But when I installed them I was disappointed, they still appear to be white. Better than opaque, but definitely still very noticeable. However, they look great in the rest of my white rosettes, so I've decided to keep them. You can't even tell they're there from across the room. They look a lot better than the white Safety 1st stamps I had from my first child. They also don't pull your nails off if you try to remove them, which I appreciate. The other covers I've used are so difficult to remove that I might as well remove the entire outlet because I can't use them. It will still be a very long time before a child takes them off themselves and as no child safety product is intended to replace adult supervision I am happy with the level of safety. All in all a great product and as long as you're not trying to discreetly cover dark closed sockets I would recommend them.
