Part may not work on pre 2014 Impala.

New part is not identical to the factory part on our 2013 Impala. Holes in new parts are 5mm threaded. The factory mounting screw has a 5mm thread at the end, but increases to 6mm at the head. Therefore, the factory screw will not fully penetrate the new part. To fix it I had to buy three 5mm screws and washers. It's not as tight as the old one, but we're hoping it will last.
