Review on 🟣✨ California Custom Products Purple Metal Polish and Deoxidizer Combo by Jeremy Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works very well! BOTH bottles are required for excellent results.

I have tried several metal "polishers" and have mostly been disappointed. The last one was metal polish 303. It's worth noting that using green deoxidizer FIRST time makes a HUGE difference in results, only using purple metal polish doesn't give nearly the same result and if I hadn't bought the combo pack I would probably do disappointed again. I rarely write reviews but was impressed enough to take the time to write this, partly because of the results and the fact that it was so difficult to find a meta-polish that worked, but ALSO for the Letting people know the importance of having BOTH BOTTLES and following them. Instructions to get the desired results as it is very important to use the deoxidizer first. I bought it mainly because I have a 2014 Centurion wakeboat with stainless steel on it and the trailer has pegs with diamond fender plates and a few other spots. Unfortunately I haven't found anything that would have worked well beforehand, so the pendant The diamond plate was out of order and looking pretty dull. I saw someone on a boat forum recommending this for using it on their diamond plate than exactly that made me look into this product as I pretty much gave up because 3 other products I tried, a were a huge waste of money, IMO, so I hoped it wouldn't be another $30 flush toilet. I am very impressed with the results, the diamond plate now looks almost new and really sparkles. I also made part of a 3 year old truck tool box that has never been washed and is 100% outside on my work truck. This polish has also transformed the toolbox, giving it all its luster back. The only thing I *NOTICE* is that on the diamond slab where the polished sections are, the purple polish has little "pearls" that I'm sure do a little to help polish the metal and bring it back to its original glory. Leave a few very small "curls/scratches" on the polished diamond plate when finished. Maybe it's a softer metal? It happened on the trailer foot pegs and tool box, it's the only thing you notice and can see if you look at it up close, but as I have OCD I notice everything! It's also important to note that with all the metals I've tried this on now, the polished areas of the diamond plate were the ONLY ones where this happened. No other polished metal I've used it on had any swirls, which is why I'm thinking maybe diamond plate is a softer metal, or maybe something else. On my boat I have several polished stainless steel wakeboard racks on the tower. covered in water stains that I couldn't remove no matter what I'd used in the past. i won't lie It took a long time because I completely disassembled the shelves to thoroughly clean every detail, but the difference is amazing, 5 year old shelves look brand new now! I have found that on metal areas that are "brushed" I would use a deoxidizer and let it sit and dry. Then used a purple polish (some took several coats to get rid of all the water stains/mist (doing smaller stains at once is key) but I also think it was more work mainly because it's the first time they've been cleaned this way for 5 years), THEN due to the black residue that comes off when the metal is polished, in sections where the metal has a "matt" metal finish (like really thin grooves in the metal), a very thin black layer remains in the brushed metal grooves (maybe because I've never used a "wet/wet" cloth, only dry microfiber cloths?). Anyway, after 5 minutes I went back and used the deoxidizer again and it easily removed ALL traces of the thin black residue from the purple polish and the matte metal looked perfectly shiny and brand new. For your information. Because of the blackness, the residue will come off, meaning it will do its job and remove the buildup. You'll need some rags. One more thing, I have special trailer rims (brand: Notched Alloy) and the outermost part of the rim is brushed metal. It has also gotten stains/water stains over the years. You can only see it up close, but it's always bothered me because of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Haven't done the whole rim part yet but did 2 small sections as a test the other day. You can clearly see this will remove any water stains/residue and leave these 4 discs looking brand new, love it! Lock+, a polymer sealant, to see if it helps with protection. I've used it before on a variety of surfaces and it works great leaving no residue like some of the other waxes/seals I've tried. It worked well on polished areas. After a few tests I found that my regular wax paste (Collinite 945) works very well on brushed metal. Basically I put on a light coat and then dried it without leaving it for a while. It left all the metal parts with a nice smooth finish which I'm sure will help protect them a little better than nothing.
