Deoxidizer didn't seem to work at first but I experimented with exposure time, five minutes made a big difference, my toolbox was 18 years old so lots of oxidation. I have marked this on the aluminum diamond plate on my trailer. The decompressor worked well. A clean, flat surface is created. Polishing the Step 2 metal was just awful. I have tried several metal "polishers" and have mostly been disappointed. The last one was metal polish 303.
