Careful painting, quick workarounds for white areas (i.e. better to go back to the spot rather than drench it by painting multiple times in quick succession), and ONLY use the brush from the set! It helped to start with a higher interest. Themes like dinosaurs or vehicles and grow into ABC and 123 with some growth and practice. Four stars only because it seems the sites are a little more sustainable than we found given the target age groups. Pages still work after light scratches from heavy use, but the scratches are obvious. buy you! Save a set to use and one to give away!
