Review on Hankook Tire Winter i*Pike RS2 W429 205/50 R17 93T by Jnis Krmi ᠌

The product is of poor quality, I don't recommend it.

Bottom line: the car is not running, time and money wasted, the tires are so defective that not only can they not be used, but even the car will not stand on them for more than a few hours, and at the same time the store refuses to resolve the issue promptly. I don't even know which is more of a problem: with tires or with a store - but both have one problem worse than the other!

Cons
  • After mounting the tires (Hankook Winter i * Pike RS2 W429) on the wheels, it took only about an hour and a half, as one of the wheels noticeably deflated, the second also aroused suspicion and the need for pumping. I had to go back to the tire shop to figure out the problem. It turned out that there were 3 (three!) holes on the first wheel, one on the inner and outer sides of the tires on the second. All holes on the shoulder. In the Wheels for Nothing store, where I bought it and where there is a tire service, they refused to solve the problem, they were rude and told to overboard on their own, and they would bring the tires already without discs to be sent for examination. It was at 9 o'clock in the evening in the season when the record in tire shops for several days ahead! This is despite the fact that the tires were lowered so quickly that I had to pump up the wheels before moving from the tire shop to the store and back. Those. even until the morning I could not leave the car, by morning it would have been on the disks. As it turned out during the re-beading, there was a third tire with a similar marriage! Those. I have all the tires from the batch with a production date of 1819 turned out to be defective, the last fourth one is 1419, a similar defect has not yet been found on it, but it may appear later, or there may be something of its own. 3 (three!) defective tires or it's a fake! It’s good that it turned out to be noticed quickly, and not to be left somewhere on the road with three wheels that had parted, because the tire fitting suggested that this was a tread welding defect, which means that it could progress along the entire seam!
