Review on 🌬️ Friedrich CCF05A10A 16-inch Air Conditioner: 5000 BTU Cooling Capacity, 115V, White by Sally Dickson

This Wi-Fi AC is turning out to be a great device and I'll try to update it after the summer. After 2 weeks of use I was ready to return the device because it was too noisy. It made a very annoying, continuous, crackling or rattling noise at fairly regular intervals, which corresponded to the time before the supercharger kicked in and the noise stopped. Only earplugs let me sleep. Surprisingly, after just over 2 weeks of daily and nightly running, the noise stopped completely. For 2 weeks of continuous use, it works stably quietly. I suspect this is because the frame and insulation are used to expanding and contracting with changes in temperature. The unit produces cool air, is quiet, and has vents that direct the air in a different direction better than any air conditioner I've had before, so the air isn't blowing directly on us at night. Water does not drip even when it is very humid outside. The phone app is great for remote control and once set up is intuitive. The remote has its own quirks in terms of how it interacts with the manual setting, but you'll find that it works well if you keep using it and experimenting with it. Once you find the right temperature setting, it pretty much stays there unless you're having a real heatwave. In this case, you can adjust the temperature by a degree or two to compensate for the hot walls and roof. I know that after a month of operation in a hot summer. Update: After 2 years of use I still love this conditioner. Setup and pairing was easy. The phone app is perfect for what you need it for. Turn on the air conditioner and set the temperature when you're not at home. The only flaw is the remote control and the unit occasionally seems to revert to eco mode when I didn't want to use that setting which is a bit annoying but given the many AC units there are none are perfect and the fact that it's so quiet, cool, has great airflow direction and can be turned on/off and temperature controlled from anywhere in the world from your phone in an app that can be used by a chimp, which makes this air conditioner great for me power.
