I'm so glad I found these boots! My son is almost 3 years old, he is quite slim and short for his age. But he's also very active, running and climbing outdoors a lot, so I really needed winter boots that weren't too bulky, stiff or difficult to play with. play in deep snow (maybe they would be just right, we haven't tried it yet), but our use will be mainly in light snow or just cold winter days without snow. If sneakers don't fit, we choose them. The quality is evident upon receipt of these boots and I'm sure they will likely hold up well. We did as recommended and ordered 1 size up and they fit great. My son seems to like them a lot and has no problem walking/jumping/climbing/playing in them and they definitely keep his feet warm! They were expensive and I originally wanted to spend more money than I wanted to spend on winter boots but since they are so easy and comfortable for him to wear I think we will get a lot out of them and they seem worth it. Price. Assuming that's the case, I'll probably buy them again next winter.
