These shoes are definitely not worth the price. I was looking for shoes to replace my son's favorite sandals (similar in shape and style) that we bought at the store for $20 last year. I thought this pair would be similar in comfort and quality but damn I was wrong. They have an almost felty texture on the outside. They arrived with a very strong smell of chemicals. The insole is slightly larger than styrofoam in texture and tensile strength. You could see how the different pieces had to fit together but didn't and couldn't align, indicating brilliant craftsmanship. Extremely disappointed. My son also complained about the comfort. They mocked him greatly, and he was very accustomed to wearing sandals of this style. If they were $10-12 I'd just say you get what you pay for and it's ok. At $27 I expected them to be at least as good as what I can get at Target or at least Walmart. Definitely not worth the money IMO.
