I bought these to pair with my inline skates. It took a little drip to realize I needed pads. This is a cheap and expensive set but they worked well. I'm over the recommended weight for the largest set they have, but that doesn't bother me. I fell in about 5 times (once very hard). You can see the scratches on the plastic pad cover and it worked fine. Has saved my knees and wrists several times. The straps are a bit uncomfortable as the velcro irritates your skin and the fabric part just won't stay in place. But if you're trying something new and want to start on a tight budget, this is a good bang for your buck.
