As written in the description, it really is great for your embroidery needs. I have these tiny excess items that I store in different pouches, but what I need is a big bag to carry them all. This thing does that job. I've got a pouch for excess thimbles or needle containers, a big zipper pouch for floss, then I have items that I always - scissors, pencil, needle threader, etc. This bag has pockets for all of them. It's also big enough to just jam in all those pouches never to be thought of again until I need them. It stands up on its own too, which is great because we want that in a bag. Pockets are either garterized or zippers, there's just one closure that uses a velcro but it doesn't interfere with anything else. It's a good bag overall.
