Review on La Almona - 1 Gallon Unscented Pure Castile Liquid Soap by Candace Kiselev

When I first saw this and read the reviews I was thrilled. Briefly about myself: I run a vacation rental company. Some time ago a guest came from France and was immediately hit with hives from the air freshener. The guest was so surprised - that had never happened to him before. I, in turn, was disappointed! To solve this problem, fresh bedding and an ozone generator were needed. Since then I've tried my best to make sure this never happens again! As you probably understand, this endeavor can be costly. I used to use things my guests bought but now I throw everything away! And even provide cleaning supplies so I no longer have to pollute the environment. I only clean the surfaces of the apartment with vinegar. Stainless Steel and Chrome Countertops: Olive For the laundry, I'm hesitant to advertise them. Let me put it this way, this is NOT a laundry assistant. For dishes and shower gel I use Dr. Bonners. Hence my excitement to find a cheaper alternative. Unfortunately, La Almona is not the same. At first it is much thinner - diluted. This may be normal for some, but then there was a waxy coating that was difficult to wash off - waste of water! I suspect the wax coating is related to the sunflower oil? Sunflower oil is one of those ingredients that I won't buy because I've heard it's bad for you. But also palm oil. dr Bonner contains palm oil which I've heard is bad for you. FYI, the only oils I think are safe are olive oil and coconut oil. Interestingly, older versions of Dr. B contained palm kernel oil? I assume no. At Bonner's, citric acid is at the bottom of the list of ingredients in their hemp-citrus liquid soap. If they didn't, maybe their skin might appear waxy too? For now all I can say is that La Almona is liquid so you end up using less product. And for some reason it's waxy. Therefore, rinsing takes time and can clog pores. Therefore I would not recommend it as a face and body wash or hand wash. what dr Bonner - I wish there wasn't palm kernel oil in it. "Sigh" While I have no alternative.
