Within the first 10 seconds, my little one bit through the first ball I gave her. She is 10 months old and only has two baby teeth. I bought this based on reviews saying it would be good for younger children but these toys are absolutely DANGEROUS for younger children. The seller said 3 years and older which is absolutely correct. Ignore other reviewers who say it's safe for younger kids. The foam is soft, softer than a nerf ball and breaks easily.
