Attaches easily and I can still raise the windshield as usual. I use it with an iPhone XS Max in a thin transparent case and it has plenty of space. I like that it's not directly under the mirror so I don't have to worry about adjusting it when I put my phone in the holder. Once everything is set up the way you want it, you can tell it's solid. There is very little play so it doesn't swing during movement. I will buy another one for my work car and would recommend it to anyone looking for a phone holder like this.
